A Corktown studio for curriculum-minded teams

The syllabus looked polished. The LMS shell was live. Yet instructors still spent Sunday nights rewriting prompts, learners still hit dead ends in week four, and nobody could explain which competency each module actually measured. These are the gaps we close: backward-designed learning pathways, formative assessment checkpoints, and AI-assisted tutoring flows that stay inside educator guardrails.

RESPONSIBLE AI

Models assist — educators decide

AI in learning design fails when tutoring bots draft final grades or when content pipelines skip subject-matter review. Our AI tutoring assistants include prompt guardrails, citation requirements, and refusal rules for academic-integrity violations. Automated feedback remains draft-only until an instructor approves it. We document model limitations in plain language so programme leads can explain them to deans and boards.

Human-in-the-loop review is standard. WCAG accessibility passes and inclusive-learning checks run before any module reaches a classroom pilot. Student-privacy safeguards and Ontario FIPPA / PIPEDA compliance are addressed from discovery through production delivery.

Ontario college — blended nursing refresher

Faculty needed a twelve-week blended pathway with formative assessment every module.
