ABOUT · LPC-ABT
Educators who design — designers who teach
LearnPointCo Inc. is a learning-design studio rooted in Corktown and the Distillery District corridor of Toronto. We partner with education organizations that need curriculum architecture, production discipline, and responsible AI — not another slide deck that gathers dust.
Our team combines instructional design, learning science, and edtech implementation experience from Canadian colleges, school boards, training providers, and corporate L&D functions. We founded LearnPointCo because too many AI-in-education pitches treated classrooms as data mines and instructors as optional. We take the opposite stance: AI supports practice and feedback drafting; educators retain authority over assessment, pacing, and academic integrity.
From 51 Trinity Street, Suite 105, we run discovery workshops, storyboard sprints, and pilot validations with client teams on site or remotely across time zones. We document model limitations, privacy obligations under PIPEDA, and accessibility requirements under WCAG so programme leads can defend choices to deans, boards, and regulators.
We are incorporated in Ontario as LearnPointCo Inc. (BN 512 906 374 RC0001). We are not an accredited school, not a credential-granting body, and not a consumer course marketplace. Our clients remain the awarding or employing institution; we supply design and production services under contract.
How we work with clients
Engagements begin with a scoping conversation — your learners, constraints, governance, and timeline. We propose fixed-fee or phased statements of work in Canadian dollars. Faculty and subject-matter experts participate in review gates; we do not bypass them. Pilots are encouraged before full rollout. When projects end, you keep the assets, documentation, and runbooks — we do not hold curriculum hostage.
Our Corktown studio sits between the Distillery District heritage corridor and downtown Toronto's education and nonprofit cluster. That location is deliberate: we wanted a walkable neighbourhood where client teams can spend a day in storyboard sprints without airport-hotel sterility. Remote collaboration is standard for distributed faculties; in-person workshops remain available by appointment.
LearnPointCo grew out of frustration with vendor pitches that promised "personalized learning at scale" while shipping generic slide decks. We built a practice around measurable learning objectives, competency mapping, formative assessment rhythms, and AI tutoring configurations that refuse to complete assignments on a student's behalf. Cluster vocabulary from learning science and responsible edtech — scaffolding, retrieval practice, human-in-the-loop review, prompt guardrails, WCAG conformance, LMS event design — shows up in deliverables, not just proposal footers.
VALUES
What stays in the margin notes
Educator authority
Sign-off before learner-facing release. No auto-graded high-stakes decisions.
Documented limits
Model behaviour, hallucination risk, and override procedures in plain language.
Inclusive by default
Accessibility and equity checks are design requirements, not change orders.
Whether you are refreshing a college programme, rebuilding corporate compliance training, or piloting guardrailed AI practice in K-12, we meet you at the whiteboard first. See how we work on anonymised engagements, or review services and CAD ranges.
