Questions we hear before the first workshop

Clear answers about what we do — and what we deliberately do not offer. Learning-design voice, Canadian pricing in CAD, educator sign-off on every learner-facing release.

Is LearnPointCo a get-rich AI course, an accredited school, or a homework / essay-writing tool — and do you guarantee grades or jobs?

No. LearnPointCo Inc. is a learning-design and AI-assisted edtech studio serving education organizations — not a get-rich-quick course, not an accredited awarding institution, and not a homework, essay-writing, or exam-substitution service. We do not sell consumer enrichment programmes promising income, side hustles, or passive revenue from AI. We do not issue diplomas, degrees, or professional licences. We do not guarantee grades, admission, licensure exam pass rates, completion, retention, salary increases, or employment outcomes. Our work helps organizations design curriculum, courseware, assessments, and guardrailed tutoring assistants; results depend on institutional implementation, instructor practice, learner effort, and governance context. If you seek credentials, ungraded assignment completion, or income promises, please contact an accredited educational provider or licensed professional in your jurisdiction.

What happens during a discovery sprint?

We begin with stakeholder interviews and a document review of your learning objectives, existing content, LMS setup, and academic-integrity policies. Our team maps competency gaps, scopes AI tutoring boundaries, and delivers a prioritized report with workshop facilitation so faculty and L&D staff co-own next steps. First storyboard cut typically arrives within 3.8 weeks; full discovery runs three to six weeks. Pricing from C$12,000 fixed-fee after a complimentary scoping call.

What is a typical project budget?

Discovery sprints from C$12,000. Full engagements — LXD, AI tutoring assistants, courseware production, LMS integration, accessibility and analytics — typically C$35,000–C$95,000 depending on module count, media depth, and number of programmes. Assessment design and rubric calibration are quoted separately when scoped. We provide written proposals in Canadian dollars before engagement letters are signed. Figures are exclusive of applicable taxes.

Do you work with Ontario public institutions subject to FIPPA?

Yes. We support colleges, universities, and school boards navigating Ontario's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. We help classify data elements, document collection purposes, design retention practices, and support privacy impact assessments before AI tutoring or analytics expand. LearnPointCo is a private consultancy governed primarily by PIPEDA — but we design workflows with provincial obligations in mind when supporting public-sector clients.

Can AI tutoring assistants auto-grade or complete assignments for students?

Never in configurations we design. Tutoring flows support practice, hinting, and draft feedback for educator review. Refusal rules block full-answer generation where policies require it. High-stakes assessment remains human-scored. We document override procedures and academic-integrity expectations in governance materials for your programme leads.

Which LMS platforms do you support?

We deliver specifications and QA checklists for Canvas, Moodle, D2L Brightspace, and custom stacks. We advise on module structure, LTI placement, and event schemas; your IT team or vendor implements. Content packages ship in import-ready formats with version notes.

Do you conduct research requiring ethics review?

When pilots involve human participants beyond routine programme evaluation, we align materials with TCPS2 expectations and support your research ethics board submission. We do not substitute for institutional REB approval. Responsible-AI documentation ships with production releases.
